Expedition Everest Refurbishment Extended Indefinitely, Disney Removes “mid-April” Target

Following our earlier reporting that Disney would miss a mid-April reopening, Disney World has updated its website to remove a reopening timeframe for Expedition Everest. In the archived screenshot below, we can see that Disney previously had a “mid-April 2022” reopening timeframe for the roller coaster.

In an update to the website today, Disney has removed that “mid-April” target, instead just advising guests to check back for more information.

Back in February, we spotted some testing going on, but the mountain has been mostly quiet in recent visits.
