Alien Swirling Saucers Refurbishment Complete, Attraction Returns to (Nearly) Full Capacity at Hollywood Studios

Walls are down and the Alien Swirling Saucers refurbishment appears to be completed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As you may recall, half of the attraction was behind walls recently as work took place. As a result, wait times were elevated and capacity for the attraction was cut in half. The refurbishment wasn’t listed on the Disney World website though because the attraction remained open. A similar thing is still ongoing at Tower of Terror where half of the attraction remains closed, wait times are elevated, and there are no notices from Disney.

Back to Toy Story Land. As you can see in the photos below, the refurbishment is completed and the attraction is nearly operating at full capacity again. A couple of the ride vehicles are missing from the recently refurbished side of the attraction. We didn’t see any new paint or obvious changes to the ride vehicles, so it’s possible that the work was not guest-facing. Here’s a look around.
