A video circulating on social media appears to show the Spider-Man Stuntronic crashing into a building at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure after a malfunction today. Video of the incident was captured by mdglee_szm and posted to Instagram.

The Stuntronic, which is a robot and not a human, appears to not release properly from the pulley device that typically sends it soaring into the sky. The Stuntronic then slams into a building and crashes backstage.

Here’s a look at a proper detaching sequence.

We will update this post when more information becomes available. Showtimes were removed from the Disneyland app, but have returned.

A photo from The Entertainment Connection Instagram shows crews working on a repair shortly after the incident.
