Disney World Asking Guests To Shelter Starting at 9pm as Hurricane Ian Approaches

As Hurricane Ian continues through the middle of Florida overnight, Walt Disney World is pushing messaging to guests staying at their hotels to shelter in their buildings starting at 9pm tonight. Tropical Storm winds are now in the Walt Disney World area, and while there is no official curfew yet, Disney is recommending guests grab dinner and hunker down for the night. Here’s the message, which is being presented on in-room televisions:

At 9pm tonight after you’ve eaten dinner, we strongly recommend that you shelter indoors and do not leave your building or room. You can find the latest information about closures and impacts on DisneyWorld.com/Weather
