State of Emergency Declared for Entire State of Florida Ahead of Forecasted Impact of Tropical Storm Ian

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has issued an updated executive order that extends the state of emergency to the entire state of Florida. Previously, only southern counties were included, but DeSantis’ updated order now includes all counties as the storm strengthens. This means that Walt Disney World is entirely encapsulated under the state of emergency.

Disney World has not yet issued a statement about the storm but is expected to issue a statement today or tomorrow after meeting with state and local authorities.
