A new park map is now available for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and with the new map come a few significant changes. Let’s take a look!
On the front of the map, the previously featured image of Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond! has been replaced by a photo in front of the Tree of Life. We also see the removal of mention of COVID-19. Instead, a generic Heath and Safety Reminder box is featured above a longstanding advertisement for the My Disney Experience app. Other changes on the right side of the front of the map include the removal of KiteTails, which didn’t make it a full year, and the addition of the “Beacon of Magic”, which is now offered nightly after not being presented all summer at Animal Kingdom.
On the map side of the pamphlet, we note the removal of KiteTails from the DinoLand USA section as well as the full removal of Dino Diner in both the map and the listing. Dino Diner is likely permanently removed now ahead of the reimagining of DinoLand USA into a Moana and Zootopia-themed space.
The park map at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was also recently updated to remove COVID-19 warnings and add Fantasmic! to the map.
