According to Disney, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy reopened this afternoon following an unexpected 9-day closure. Sources familiar with the matter said that the culprit was the Lightning McQueen animatronic, which is a bit temperamental. The figure was reportedly refreshed a couple of years ago, but has been difficult as of late. The downtime included an escalated repair request to get the show back open again.
