Plans Revealed for Disney Parks Lake Nona Headquarters

A report from the Orlando Sentinel details Disney’s plans for their new Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products headquarters campus in Lake Nona, FL. The plans reveal six office buildings, two flex buildings, and three parking garages. A park area will also be included in the plans. Construction will be completed in phases, with the opening of the campus delayed from 2023 to 2026. Disney CEO Bob Iger recently said he’d look into the plans for the move, but that he didn’t in “any way mean to indicate reversing the decision that was made, but it is something that I will look into”.

The campus will serve as the new headquarters for Walt Disney Imagineering and the Disney Parks division of the company – a significant shift from the current headquarters in California. The campus could cost up to $864 million to build.
