As Disney continues to target a late 2023 full opening of World Celebration and The Pit at EPCOT, new construction is taking place to bring the CommuniCore Plaza section of the CommuniCore Hall complex to life. We recently took a spin on the EPCOT monorail to get an elevated look at the construction taking place.

First, here’s a better idea of what to expect from the complex when it is completed.

The area of interest of this article will be the structure that will surround the CommuniCore Plaza area. Most notably, there is new structure that will cover the oval stage that will be used for the various EPCOT festivals.
