Walt Disney World has announced that CommuniCore Hall is trading its dance floor for a cheese board. An all-new interactive exhibit dedicated to cheese opens on September 18th, billed with the tagline “Cheers to Cheese.” Guests will be able to explore cheese history and trivia throughout the space. The opening date falls several weeks into the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, giving GoofyCore its full summer run before the switchover.

CommuniCore Hall spent Cool Kids’ Summer as GoofyCore, a DJ-fueled dance party and activity zone built around Goofy. With Summer coming to a close, Disney has confirmed what comes next for the space. CommuniCore Hall will host an all-new interactive exhibit celebrating cheese starting September 18th, arriving under the tagline “Cheers to Cheese.”
Disney describes the exhibit as a chance for guests to celebrate one of the world’s most beloved foods. The exhibit will let guests discover fun facts and the history of cheese at stops throughout the space. Disney is playfully framing the exhibit’s various corners as different “wedges” of the experience. Exact activities, displays, and any food and beverage tie-ins remain unconfirmed for now.
The September 18th start places the exhibit roughly three weeks into the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The festival runs from August 27th through November 21st. The timing allows GoofyCore to complete its full Cool Kids’ Summer run before crews transform the space for the cheese exhibit. It also mirrors the pattern CommuniCore Hall has followed in past years, rotating between festival and seasonal uses.
CommuniCore Hall has rotated through a lineup of temporary offerings since it opened in 2024. Past examples include retail and dining space during earlier Food & Wine Festivals and a Santa Claus meet-and-greet during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. The cheese exhibit is the venue’s latest addition to that list.
