Walt Disney World has announced some new details for the 2026 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. In addition to an initial list of new and returning classic topiaries, Disney has announced plans for the CommuniCore Hall venue. This year, Spike the Honey Bee will take over the space for a larger-than-life garden that changes as the day turns to night! Here are the details.
Nighttime Garden Coming to CommuniCore Hall | 2026 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival
Last year, I was less-than-impressed with the CommuniCore Hall setup for the 2025 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. Here’s how Disney described the 2025 offering:
There’s a new activation getting ready to bloom at CommuniCore Hall! Get a bee’s eye view at CommuniCore Hall, with a new gallery that is larger than life!Â
Here’s a look at the venue during the 2025 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. In short, I felt that the space was underutilized, especially when compared to the Disney on Broadway exhibit that debuted earlier that year.
This year, it sounds like Disney is planning on expanding the concept, offering a unique experience once the sun goes down!

Experience Spike’s larger-than-life Garden as it transitions from day to night. From fireflies that glow in the dark, to flowers that open by moonlight, each element of the garden becomes more magical once the sun goes down.
