It’s time for a COOL KIDS SUMMER at Walt Disney World, and to help you plan, we wanted to have a single spot where you can read about everything new and returning for the limited-time offering. Here’s a park-by-park breakdown of the Cool Kids Summer offerings this year.

COOL KIDS SUMMER at Magic Kingdom

At Magic Kingdom, COOL KIDS SUMMER is anchored by Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue! This all-new offering will invite guests to join Jessie, Woody, Bullseye, and their pals for a rip-roarin’ roundup packed with singing, dancing, games, and other playful activities.

In addition to Jessie’s Roundup, guests will want to make sure to visit the updated Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and the refreshed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin features updates for young ones to have more fun, including handheld blasters and always-on lasers to make aiming much easier. Interactive targets and an updated Disney PhotoPass on-ride photo featuring your score.

At the refreshed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, little ones will have a new opportunity to experience The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness thanks to a new, lower minimum height requirement. Pair the lower height requirement with a smoother ride due to all-new roller coaster track, new show scenes, and you have a very compelling reason to head over to Frontierland!

For little ones who enjoyed a nap back at the hotel during the day, stay up late and check out the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade.

COOL KIDS SUMMER at EPCOT

COOL KIDS SUMMER at EPCOT will, once again, be anchored by GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall, a DJ-fueled dance party and activity zone built around Goofy. Kids can try Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks, with the entire experience designed to encourage movement, silliness, and creativity. It’s one of the most toddler-friendly offerings of the summer, with no height requirement and a low-pressure, come-and-go format.

In addition to GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall, an all-new film will be playing at Soarin’ starting May 26th. The new Soarin’ Across America film is a new bi-coastal offering that will showcase the United States—from sea to shining sea—highlighting some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes. This will all be brought to life with the iconic elements that make Soarin’ unforgettable – the flight, the sights and score, even the scents! In total, there will be more than a dozen breathtaking locations for the new flight, including the Grand Canyon.

Guests looking for even more fun will want to head over to Frozen Ever After to check out an updated ride with updated Audio-Animatronics and improved lighting.

If your little ones have struggled with 3D attractions in the past, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is now being presented in 2D permanently. While I think that the 2D experience is a little bit less immersive, there is no doubt that the attraction is more accessible now.

COOL KIDS SUMMER at Hollywood Studios

Disney characters Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto on stage at Walt Disney Studios ar.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the highlight for little ones will be the new Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, which is now playing in the recently opened Walt Disney Studios Lot area. Inspired by the global hit series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, the show follows Mickey and Minnie as they track down their pals Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto with help from the audience. It features original songs, interactive moments, and plenty of clapping and dancing.

Can’t make it for Summer? Not to worry, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! will stick around beyond COOL KIDS SUMMER.

The new show is part of a reimagined corner of Disney’s Hollywood Studios called the Walt Disney Studios Lot.

Later this summer, The Magic of Disney Animation will open, featuring an all-new animation experience, led by none other than the lovable snowman from Frozen – Olaf! Also located in The Magic of Disney Animation is a number of new meet and greets, along with a new playground inspired by the original “Alice in Wonderland” concept art from Disney Legend Mary Blair.

Also in the Walt Disney Studios Lot is the reimagined Little Mermaid show, The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.

While little ones under 48″ won’t be able to ride, another highlight at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this Summer will be the debut of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. The new version of a familiar ride will debut May 26th.

COOL KIDS SUMMER at Animal Kingdom

Perhaps the biggest news of COOL KIDS SUMMER is that Bluey is making her debut at Walt Disney World! This will be, by far, the most popular offering of the Summer, and could be a logistical challenge. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the on-the-ground reality of getting from Africa to the Conservation Station area in Animal Kingdom, which is where all of the Bluey offerings will be found.

UPDATE: Virtual Queue Required

Walt Disney World has announced that a Virtual Queue will be required to experience Bluey’s Wild World at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Get the full details here!

Guests will find Bluey and Bingo at Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station. There, guests can play games and dance with Bluey and Bingo at Conservation Station. Once guests hop off the Wildlife Express Train, it’s time for fun. Play special games directly from “Bluey” episodes, grab a photo with Bluey and Bingo themselves, and even discover animals native to Bluey’s home country, Australia, at “Jumping Junction.”

Can’t make it for Summer? Not to worry, Bluey and Bingo will stick around beyond COOL KIDS SUMMER.
