In late January, a Disney World audition post effectively announced that a character appearance by the live-action version of Ariel from Disney’s upcoming movie The Little Mermaid would be coming to the theme parks. Now, Disney has renewed the audition for submissions through March 14th. The submission allows for the character performer to also play the role of Tiana in the theme parks.

Exactly how, when, and where the live-action version of the Ariel character will be used at Walt Disney World remains a mystery. The Little Mermaid will debut in theaters on May 26th and Ariel will be played by Halle Bailey. The first trailer for The Little Mermaid will debut during the Oscars on ABC this Sunday.
