Guest Rooms Take Shape for DVC Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Work continues to bring the Disney Vacation Club tower to life at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Earlier this morning, we took a spin on the monorail and a walk around the grounds of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to find that some of the guest rooms, or at least the windows/balcony openings, are taking shape. More prefabricated concrete slabs have been installed since we last checked in on the project, and it’s starting to look more like a hotel than it has in recent weeks. Here’s a look!

Taking a look around the rest of the construction site before jumping on the monorail, we can see some more concrete is ready to be lifted into place as well as some staircases.

A dock-type structure is also under construction.

Utility work is underway in another section of the building’s footprint. This side of the site hasn’t gone vertical yet, and we’ll get a better look once we hop on the monorail.

Time to jump on the monorail for an elevated look at the site!

Here’s a closer look at the foundation that has yet to go vertical.

Finally, here’s a look at the structure from the monorail.

The Disney Vacation Club tower is scheduled to open in late 2024 at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
