RUMOR: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith to Reopen in Early July at Hollywood Studios

According to BlogMickey.com sources, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith is currently scheduled to reopen in early July. The roller coaster has been closed since February 21, 2023 for extensive work that might include some work on the track. The 23-year-old attraction certainly needed some work and it is a critical ride to keep reliable for park operations. Officially, Disney World has said that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will reopen in Summer 2023, but an exact date has not been given.

There was some speculation amongst fans that the ride would be rethemed, but it seems unlikely given just how much work would be required, and Disney World has not announced a retheme.

Currently, the plan seems to be to reopen Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in the first week of July, but that plan is subject to change. We wouldn’t book your Hollywood Studios theme park reservation just yet as we await official word from Disney. As always, any rumor should be treated as unofficial unless Disney World confirms it.
