The expanded support building thought to be a kitchen is receiving a western-themed mural to extend the theming of Woody’s Lunch Box. On a recent visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we stopped by to check in on the project that seems like it could be wrapped up in the next month or so.

While exiting Toy Story Mania, we can see that a lot more foliage has been planted to hide the support building and views of the restroom building.

As we continue along the path, the building starts to come into view. While the mural we will take a closer look at is on the “front” of the building, this side will also likely need to be painted – although a simple cardboard pattern and more foliage may suffice.

Before we take a good look at the mural, here’s a view from outside of the Woody’s Lunch Box seating area. First, a view from new Alien Swirling Saucers looking back toward the dining area.

Now, here’s a look at the main facade of Woody’s Lunch Box with the expansion to the left of the ordering windows.

Here’s a look at the mural visible from near Toy Story Mania.

And here’s our best look at the mural in progress. As we can see, there will be a wagon, dessert scenes, and a cowboy cooking a meal when the mural is complete. The DynoGlide plane prop has also returned to the area.
