High-Pressure Valve Leak Fixed for Moana Journey of Water at EPCOT

A high-pressure leak has been fixed near the Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana attraction at EPCOT. Disney closed the walkway where the leak was earlier this month, but it has recently reopened, allowing guests a much more direct walkway between World Celebration and Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana.

The leak, which didn’t appear to impact the Journey of Water attraction substantially, created a loud hissing sound as air was pushed out from near a cover in the walkway. There are a series of complex pipes running under the walkway that carry water to the Journey of Water attraction from a nearby water processing plant.

Here’s a look at the reopened walkway, and the chunk of pavement that was replaced around the leaky covers.
