Following a few days of closure, the impressive interactive finale effect has reopened in the Ocean section of the Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana nature trail at EPCOT. The interactive big wave effect was behind rolling planters recently, blocked off to guests as crews worked on repairing the area. It’s unknown what repairs were made, but the area is open again.

Found in the final section of the self-guided nature trail attraction, the Ocean section contains a fun interactive element that allows guests to not only play with water, but work together to create a large wave.
Here’s a look at guests enjoying the area during our visit to EPCOT today. The effect appeared to be working better than we’ve seen during recent months. It seems to be more responsive, perhaps even refilling quicker to allow for both individual effects and team effects.
