Following up on our report earlier today where we gave you a first look at a new mural at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we wanted to follow up with a closer look at the recently installed weathervane.
Disney World provided a behind-the-scenes look at the weathervane installation a few days ago, which was the handiwork of famed New Orleans master blacksmith, Darryl Reeves, and his apprentice, Karina Roca.
While visiting Magic Kingdom earlier today, we wanted to get an in-park view of the weathervane as work continues on the salt mine facade for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
A calm Rivers of America and some green foliage provided a nice canvas this morning for the lush look of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Due to the Walt Disney World Marathon, crowds were very low this morning at Magic Kingdom, offering an empty view of this corner of Frontierland.
We get our first glimpse of the weathervane atop the mill house through some of the Bald Cypress trees installed in the front of the attraction.
We get a slightly better view from the side of the attraction. We’ll start with a wider view and then zoom in for a closer look. Thankfully, the compass part of the weathervane gets the direction correct.
