2-Month-Old Baby Elephant Makes Animal Kingdom Debut in Historic First; More Baby Elephants on the Way!

2-month-old baby elephant Corra has made her Kilimanjaro Safaris debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. While baby elephants aren’t necessarily new to the successful species survival program at Animal Kingdom, Corra’s debut marks a historic first as she is the first second-generation calf at Animal Kingdom. Corra’s mother, Nadirah, was born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom back in 2005. Corra is the first calf born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in seven years.

UPDATE: We rode Kilimanjaro Safaris earlier today to grab a few photos of our own of baby Corra! Our original article continues (along with the photos provided by Disney) after the final watermarked photos below.

Corra will be surrounded by a few familiar faces on the savanna, since she is joining a herd that includes her aunts Stella and Luna, as well as her grandmother, Donna. Corraโ€™s dad, Mac, also lives here at the park.

Disney World also announced that they are expecting not one, but two more baby elephants in 2025!
