Construction season is back on at the Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT as an extensive maze of construction walls has been installed recently. The construction walls mostly span the front of the pavilion, with the fountain enclosed as well as scaffolding reaching the top of the Bab Bou Jeloud facade.

Everything remains open in the pavilion, including the Princess Jasmine meet & greet and the Tangierine Cafe. Here’s a look around from our visit to EPCOT this morning.

We got our first glimpse of the construction from across World Showcase Lagoon. You can see just how expansive the work is from here. It’ll be obvious in a minute, but the work does not impact the waterfront dining at Spice Road Table.

Here’s a look at the Morocco plaza, which contains the majority of the construction walls.

To the right of the walls, you can access Tangierine Cafe and the back of the pavilion.

To the left of the construction walls, the Gallery of Arts and History, as well as the Kidcot location. You can also access the back half of the pavilion from the left side of the construction walls. We’ll take a quick walking tour from the front of the pavilion back to a vantage point near the Princess Jasmine meet and greet.

When we visited this morning, the plaza in front of Restaurant Marrakesh was also closed off, but it wasn’t immediately clear if the closure was due to the construction, or if it was unrelated.

The marketplace remains open during the construction (and is a wonderful spot to sit down and write an article or two).
