Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced that Craig Mateer will replace Martin Garcia on the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District Board of Supervisors. Mateer is currently on the Board of Governors for the State University System, and he used to own Bags, Inc.
For Disney fans, Bags Inc. was the company that handled a lot of the luggage services for Disney’s Magical Express toward the end of that service’s run. Bags Inc. also was contracted by Disney for other services before it was sold and renamed.
Mateer was present at this morning’s Central Florida Tourism Oversight District Board of Supervisors meeting.
