The new blue color scheme for the Galactic Gateway Rockettower Plaza Stage is nearly complete at Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland. While visiting Magic Kingdom recently, we stopped in to take a look at the repainting, which kicked off back in early March. The stage complex isn’t utilized for any entertainment during normal park hours, so the only deadline that Disney World has on the project is the August 9th start of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Before we get to the new paint scheme, here’s a reminder of what the stage used to look like. This photo was taken before a private event, so the extra speakers are not typical for the venue.

Here’s a look at the most recent progress, which includes a nearly full repainting of the main stage structure. Previously, the tech booth was repainted in the new blue color scheme. Here’s a look around!
