While visiting Magic Kingdom today, it wasn’t all Frontierland-focused. While the frontier is certainly the spot for Magic Kingdom investments going forward, there are still other projects happening around the park. One of the smaller investments is a repainting of the Tomorrowland Rockettower Plaza stage area. Also known, as the Galactic Gateway, Disney has been repainting the Rockettower Plaza to change from a seafoam green color scheme to a light blue.
The project began back in early March, and has been focused on the tech booth up until this point. During our visit today, we noticed that the repainting around the tech booth has been completed, and the planters have been removed. Here’s a look around!
Across the plaza, work is getting started on repainting the main stage area.
