As part of an update on the Country Bear Jamboree closing date, Disney World has also teased more projects for Frontierland. At the end of the post, which was about the Country Bear Jamboree and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Disney also added this blurb at the end:
We have a lot of growth and investment planned for our theme parks in the coming years and look forward to sharing more announcements about Frontierland … so y’all come back now, ya hear?
Of course, the only project that has been announced as being in the works is the Beyond Big Thunder Mountain project. Disney has previously teased a concept that would place a Coco-themed area, and Encanto-themed area, and a Villains-themed area along the Rivers of America behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, but what if there’s more to come?
The biggest thing on our radar would be an update or retheme of Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe. The obvious choice would be a tie-in with the nearby Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the Tiana’s Foods enterprise, but what if Disney has other ideas?
Another space that we can’t imagine will be here forever is the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, but we’re just spitballing there and haven’t heard any rumors about the space yet.
