Following almost two months of little progress, some work is visibly taking place as the Stave Church exterior refurbishment continues at EPCOT. We first took a look at the work back in March. Since then a few “shingles” have been placed on the roof and removed. Now, it looks like the north side of the iconic building is starting to see some progress.
Stave Church Refurbishment at EPCOT
Located in the Norway Pavilion, the Stave Church structure is home to the Stave Church Gallery and the Gods of the Vikings exhibit. The exhibit is still open inside the building as work on the roof continues. Here’s a look at the latest progress from a recent visit to EPCOT.
The area of interest is the lowest level of roofing and a replacement of the wooden shingles and the underlayment weather-resistant material.
