According to a social media post from Willow Bay, wife of Disney CEO Bob Iger, Iger received the honorary Knight of the Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) today from William, Prince of Wales. Iger was joined by legendary composer John Williams as being some of the last people to receive the honor before Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passed away back in September 2022.
Iger was named Honorary KBE for “services to the UK/US relations”, according to the United Kingdom government website.
Iger was joined by his wife Willow Bay and three of his children in what Bay called a “proud family moment”.
