Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit has returned to EPCOT for the Halloween season. Beyond being one of Walt Disney World’s best seasonal alliterations, it is also a fun way to bring Halloween into a park other than Magic Kingdom. We made it out to EPCOT today to celebrate October 1st, which we’re told is the start of the Halloween season in every other city except Orlando, which has been celebrating for a month and a half now. In this article, we’ll take a look at the 2024 Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit offering, including the price, prizes, and a look at where to find the character pumpkins!
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Returns to EPCOT
We’ll try to work through this article from non-spoilery to full-on spoilers, depending on how much you want to know. We’ll start with a look at the map and pricing, followed by a look at the prizes for the scavenger hunt and pins available for extra purchase before taking a full spoiler look at this year’s lineup and pumpkin placements.
2024 Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Price and Map
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is $9.99 per map, as has been the case in years past. One map equals one prize, and maps are available for redemption through November 1, 2024 or while supplies last. Disney says that redemption locations are at Creations Shop, Disney Traders or World Traveler at International Gateway. That said, we found Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit maps and prizes at Gateway Gifts.

2024 Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Pin Set
For fans of pin sets, there is a Limited Release 2024 Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit pin set that is available for extra purchase. The pin set is $39.99, and it includes five pins, each representing one of the mini sipper prizes for this year’s scavenger hunt.

Connections Cafe & Eatery | Minnie Mouse
Find the Minnie Mouse pumpkin above the Bakery kitchen!
Creations Shop | Mickey Mouse
Wherever you’ll see Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse isn’t far behind. Head indoors at Creations Shop to find the Mickey Mouse pumpkin near the home goods section.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind | Groot
As you might imagine, you can find the Groot pumpkin near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The pumpkin is near the same garden where you can now meet with Star-Lord!
Test Track | Pluto
Test Track is currently closed for a reimagining, but head to a secluded space to the left of the former entrance to find Pluto!
Green Landing Family Play Zone | Wall-E and Eve
Just like in years past, guests can find Wall-E and Eve near the Green Landing Family Play Zone. Of course, Disney isn’t going to put the pumpkins in the playground, but you can find them across the walkway from the playground entrance.
The Odyssey Pavilion | Goofy
Just like last year, you’ll find the Goofy pumpkin on the roof of The Odyssey, but this time he’s on the north side of the building.
Disney Traders | Olaf
We’ll barely step into World Showcase to find the next two pumpkins. It’s kind of nice to have a scavenger hunt that is focused on the front half of EPCOT, and we hope it stays that way for years to come. Anyway, Olaf can be found above a register inside Disney Traders.
Port of Entry | Daisy
Across the World Showcase Plaza viewing area, guests can find Daisy up on a ledge in the Port of Entry gift shop.
Swirled Showcase | Chip & Dale
As we start to make our way toward World Nature to wrap up the hunt, we can find Chip & Dale on the roof of the Swirled Showcase building.
Journey Into Imagination with Figment | Figment
Like Groot, this one is an obvious choice. Check a ledge above the entrance to the ride to find the Figment pumpkin.
The Land Pavilion | Joy
Joy has moved over to the outdoor garden area in front of The Land Pavilion for this year’s scavenger hunt.
The Seas Pavilion | Dory
We wrap up our hunt by finding Dory near the back entrance to The Seas Pavilion.
