Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is a scavenger hunt that takes place during the Halloween season at EPCOT. Guests track down decorative pumpkins hidden throughout the park, each themed to a different Disney character. As we reported when kiosk installation began ahead of the 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, this year’s celebration runs August 27th through November 21st. Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit runs September 25th through November 2nd, 2026 as a Halloween-specific addition.
How Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Works
Here’s how the hunt works. Guests first purchase a game board and stickers for $11.99 plus tax. Select merchandise locations sell them, including Creations Shop, Disney Traders, festival merchandise kiosks, Gateway Gifts, and World Traveler at International Gateway. From there, guests search for hidden pumpkins based on Disney characters. Guests then add the corresponding sticker to their game board after each discovery.
Guests don’t need to find every pumpkin to claim a prize. Once the hunt is finished, guests can bring their board to Creations Shop, Disney Traders, Gateway Gifts, or World Traveler. Each board earns one festival keepsake. Redemption runs through November 2nd, 2026, or while supplies last.
A few other details are worth noting. Guests can buy up to five game boards each, and each board earns just one keepsake. Disney also notes that the event is subject to cancellation or change without notice, including changes to dates and pricing.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit debuted at EPCOT in 2022. It has returned every year since, running alongside Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, the festival’s other scavenger hunt. The Remy scavenger hunt centers on World Showcase and runs throughout the full festival. Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, on the other hand, only runs during the limited Halloween window and typically is contained within World Discovery, World Nature, and World Celebration, plus a brief span of World Showcase.
