A new audition notice has been posted, seeking performers for the reimagined The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure show coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios next summer. The audition notice says that Disney is seeking full-time and part-time roles for Ariel and Prince Eric.

“The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” is a fully reimagined theatrical production inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic “The Little Mermaid.” Follow the beloved story of Ariel’s journey to be part of the human world. “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” will have guests flipping their fins to musical numbers inspired by the film, including “Part of Your World,” “Kiss the Girl,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and more.
SEEKING:
- Ariel: 5’2″ – 5’6″. A spirited, fun-loving, yet curious mermaid princess who longs to be a part of the human world. Lyrical pop soprano with belt to C.
- Prince Eric: 5’10“- 6’0″. Charismatic and fearless, Prince Eric is a true romantic who never gives up on his heart’s desire. Non-singing role.
Submissions will be accepted through December 11th and in-person callbacks are scheduled for late January. Disney World says that rehearsal is to begin March/April 2025.
As a reminder, Disney has announced a Summer 2025 opening date for the show after missing a previously announced Fall 2024 timeframe.
