According to BlogMickey.com sources, Walt Disney World will be changing third-party valet service companies early next year. The change will be a significant shift for valet operations, with longtime Disney partner Bags Inc. rumored to be replaced by Towne Park. Bags Inc. took over valet operations directly from Walt Disney World nearly two decades ago. Our sources indicate that the switchover will be complete by the end of February 2025.
Disney World Changing Valet Services Provider
Bags Inc. held the valet contract with Walt Disney World for nearly 20 years, dating back to the start of the Disney’s Magical Express service back in 2005. Bags Inc. was the company that held the technology and know-how for the former Resort Airline Check-In service, which was a critical part of the Magical Express service. The buses were operated by Mears. The end of the valet contract means that Bags. Inc will no longer have a presence at many of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

Disney’s Magical Express, which was widely praised by guests and industry experts, was sunset at the end of 2021. Disney said that ride-share services and an ever-increasing number of transportation options for guests were the reason for the end of the Magical Express service.
With Universal Epic Universe set to open next year, there were some rumblings over the past year or so that Disney might try to revive the Magical Express service to capture more guests. The end of the contract with Bags. Inc all but removes any chance of the Magical Express service returning.

Bags Inc. is rumored to stay on as a luggage handling provider at Walt Disney World’s Value Resorts following the end of their valet services contract.
Valet service is currently offered at Disney Deluxe and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, as well as at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Valet service is currently $42 per night (plus tax).
