UPDATE (2:30pm): Level99 has confirmed that they will be coming to Disney Springs and taking over the former NBA Experience location.
According to a recently filed Notice of Fictitious name entry with the State of Florida, Level99, an immersive real-world gaming company is coming to Disney Springs. The filing lists the standard Disney Springs address for a company known as Level99. According to the Level99 webpage, they are a “first-of-its-kind destination for adults featuring real-world, interactive social gaming with over 50 physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments”.
Level99 Immersive Real-World Gaming at Disney Springs
Walt Disney World has not confirmed plans to bring Level99 to Disney Springs, but there is a massive building on the West Side that would certainly be a wonderful home for the concept. The short-lived NBA Experience has left a mostly empty building on the West Side of Disney Springs that has been used for limited-time offerings, but never with a longterm tenant. The space would be one of the only venues at Disney Springs that could host something on the scale of Level99.
Level99 sounds like a grown-up DisneyQuest, which has become quite popular around the country. At Level99, you are working with your friends to discover new challenges, collect all the stars, find digital treasure, and master new experiences… Besides challenge? Laugh, socialize, take photos, drink, eat, and have a blast.
Some elements of Level99 include:
- Rooms with Themed Challenges | Work together in dozens of unique challenge rooms with your team of 2-6 players to test your body and mind. Each room is a unique experience, falling into our PHYSICAL, SKILL, or MENTAL categories. Physical rooms will test your strength, balance, flexibility. Skill rooms will test your accuracy, timing, reflexes. Mental rooms will test your memory, problem-solving, spatial thinking… and more! Your team has each room to yourself, but only 1-4 minutes to complete each challenge, so act quick!
- Player-vs-Player “Duels” | If competition is more your style, face off against your friends in a variety of player-vs-player competitions for glory and bragging rights.
- Art Hunts | Featuring over 50 pieces of local one-of-a-kind art, our games will have you searching, solving, and discovering every inch of this wonderland space. Art Hunts are a low-key scavenger hunt involving the playful art found all throughout the space. Each piece of art contains a hidden Glyph. Completing Art Hunts is the surest way of seeing and exploring every inch of our bright and whimsical wonderland, so make sure to complete them while you’re “rehydrating” in your downtime between games.
- Hand-crafted Food & Drinks | Detroit-style pizza, awarded “Best Pizza in Boston”; Legendary fresh, local beers on draft; Artistic, hand-crafted, creative cocktails
Level99 currently has two other locations, one in Natick, MA, and the other in Providence, RI. The rumor of Level99 coming to Disney Springs was first reported by wdwmagic.

We live in Massachusetts and absolutely love level 99. It’s not only great for adults, but it’s really great for all ages. big groups or small groups it’s such a great time. I cannot wait to see something like level 99 in Disney Springs.
Totally agree, Level 99 is so fun! I’ve been there for a work Christmas party, have brought my teenaged sons and his friends, and I have visited with the family. I’m not sure that I would do this while at Disney, but hopefully the locals will enjoy it!
