Refurb Redo: Plaza Restaurant Behind Scrims Again at Magic Kingdom

Following a refurbishment last Summer, construction walls and themed scrims have returned to The Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom. While the table-service dining venue remains open to guests during the work, the return of construction walls can’t be a great sign for a venue that just wrapped up work last September after months of work. Here’s a look at the current status of the exterior refurbishment at The Plaza Restaurant.

The Plaza Restaurant Under Refurbishment…Again

This is the second time that The Plaza Restaurant is behind construction walls in 8 months, with the previous refurbishment running from June to September last year. It’s unclear what prompted a second refurbishment, but walls went up earlier this month, and a themed scrim was a more recent addition – suggesting that the work will not be “quick”.
