In an Imagineer highlight, Walt Disney Imagineering has shared a sneak peek inside the new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar opening later this year at Magic Kingdom. The short video below follows Imagineer Montse Garmilla, Assistant Producer. In the video below, Garmilla shows off the lounge space, which was mostly still structural studs at the time that the video was filmed. Of course, the video could’ve been filmed weeks or months ago, but with an opening timeframe of “late 2025”, we don’t imagine that the space looks too much different now than it does in the video.

In discussing the space, Garmilla confirmed our report from November 2024 that there would be a second room within the previously announced lounge. Garmilla called the second room the “Captain’s Quarters”, which you can see in the concept art below.
