Walt Disney World has announced that the Disney Jr. Play and Dance! experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closed this Summer to accommodate a new DJ dance party called “Get Animated”. The new offering is part of the Cool Kid Summer activation that spans all four Walt Disney World theme parks. Here’s the announcement.
Disney Jr. Play and Dance Temporarily Closing This Summer
Disney Jr. Play and Dance! will be temporarily unavailable beginning May 25. Enjoy ‘Get Animated’ at this location beginning May 27. For all available entertainment offerings please visit the My Disney Experience App.
It sounds like Disney Jr. Play and Dance will return in September at the conclusion of the Cool Kid Summer initiative. Disney Jr. Play and Dance debuted in 2020. Check out our video below for a look at Play and Dance back when it debuted!
