The holiday season is just around the corner, and Walt Disney World has confirmed the lineup of gingerbread houses that guests will be able to see at select resort hotels. I guess it’s more properly described as gingerbread displays, given the variety of themes that are presented each year. As a reminder, it was announced all the way back in April that the Grand Floridian gingerbread house would not be presented this year due to an ongoing refurbishment of the lobby area. Here’s the lineup of Walt Disney World gingerbread displays for the 2025 holiday season!
Walt Disney World Gingerbread Houses 2025
If you want to see gingerbread brought to life by our talented pastry teams, simply follow the smell of gingerbread. You can take a quick trip over to the following resorts this holiday season to see their mesmerizing (and delicious) work through January 1:
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Typically, Mary Blair-inspired designs can be found at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. That said, the bakery team went with a Cinderella Castle Dream Lights display last year. Themes have yet to be announced for the 2025 season, but we bet that Cinderella Castle will return.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
Disney’s BoardWalk Resort typically has the same display from year to year, featuring a gingerbread version of the BoardWalk Deli. We’ll have to wait and see what the bakery team has in the oven for this year!
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
While the theme typically changes from year to year, the display at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is very likely to remain a carousel for the 2025 holiday season. Last year, the theme was Mickey’s Christmas Carol!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Animal Kingdom Lodge returns for a 5th year, and it typically features gingerbread creations of animals! Last year, Francisco the Flamingo made his debut. Will there be another new animal this year?
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Making a long-awaited return is Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. We haven’t seen a proper gingerbread display here since the COVID-19 shutdowns. That said, there was a wonderful gingerbread cabin display back in 2019 that we hope returns this year!
Work on the gingerbread displays should start soon, so we’ll keep an eye out when visiting the resorts to see if we can spot any under construction.
Again, there will be no gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort this year, but we’re hopeful that it will return next year after construction in the lobby wraps up.

Hi, as of Nov 15, 2025 their still is no information as to when displays will be set for Disney hotels!! I just left yacht club resort and spoke to someone and they still dont know!!! Thanksgiving is only a few days away..
