Construction Walls Removed from New Norway Kiosk at EPCOT

|

Good morning from EPCOT, where construction walls have been removed from around the new themed kiosk in the Norway Pavilion. We got a sneak peek at the kiosk just a couple of days ago, and we assumed that construction was wrapping up at that time. Now, the wooden construction walls have been removed from around the kiosk, leaving some hedge planters that can be rolled away at a moment’s notice.

Construction Walls Removed from New Norway Kiosk

As you can see in our photos below, the construction walls that once surrounded the new themed kiosk in the Norway Pavilion have been removed. Instead, Disney’s cloaking device of choice is a rolling hedge planter. These hedge planters typically show up at the end of a construction cycle, after the need ends for more sturdy wooden construction walls.

In our previous update on the kiosk, we assumed that construction was winding down as the busy holiday season began. With the removal of the wooden construction walls, we’re hopeful that the kiosk will open before Christmas and certainly before the very busy New Year’s Eve.

Still no word on a menu for the new kiosk. The old kiosk served regional beer, wine, and soda.
