Disney World Announces Closing Date for Conservation Station, Affection Section Ahead of Bluey Takeover

|

Walt Disney World has announced that multiple offerings at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will soon close to make way for the arrival of Bluey later this Summer. From the sounds of it, some offerings will close permanently, while others may return at a later date. Here’s the latest!

Conservation Station, Affection Section & Wildlife Express to Temporarily Close Feb. 23rd

According to notices posted to the Walt Disney World website, both Conservation Station and the Affection Section petting zoo will “temporarily close” on February 23rd. This would suggest that both will open at a later date. While it makes sense that Conservation Station would reopen (it’ll be the new home of Bluey), it’s interesting that the Affection Section petting zoo will reopen as well.

We previously reported that the Affection Section petting zoo would close permanently at some point this year.

One experience that will be closing permanently is the The Animation Experience at Conservation Station. It will likely move to the new Walt Disney Studios Lot land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios later this year.
