Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios can check out a limited-time Oscars display within the Walt Disney Presents exhibit. The display case is toward the back of the exhibit, near the Walt Disney Theater. The exhibit features props, costumes, and more from some of the films that have earned Disney an Academy Award over the years. Here’s a closer look!

In addition to the props, costumes, and more within the display case, there is a large Academy Award photo op right next to the display case.

After winning the first Academy Award for “Cartoon Short Subject” in 1932, Walt Disney introduced the world of entertainment to an impossible notion: animation could be art.

Over the following decades, Walt Disney and his team of talented artists continued to tinker with new ideas and exciting technologies, eventually mastering almost every medium and genre of storytelling imaginable-from feature-length animation and live action films to computer-generated animation, special effects, and beyond.

As of 2025, nearly 100 years after the world debut of Flowers and Trees, The Walt Disney Company has collected an astounding 155 Academy Awards and Walt himself still holds the world record for “most Academy Awards won by an individual” to this day at 33 statuettes.
