Following the January debut of a new seating area in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, shade structures have been installed ahead of what is sure to be another sweltering Summer. We stopped by Disney’s Hollywood Studios during an overcast morning, which isn’t the best time to showcase the shade structures, but here’s a look.

There are three shade canopies that have been installed over most of the seating in the new seating area. The canopies are not 100% opaque. Instead, some sunlight can come through, but it will be greatly reduced. That said, they don’t function at all in protecting guests from rain.
