7 Months Later: No Camouflage Props at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

As we approach the 7-month anniversary of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure switching from 3D to 2D, there is another change that we’re still waiting to see implemented – the arrival of new props on the ride. Announced back in October 2025, the switch to 2D was supposed to be followed up by new props and lighting enhancements. The changes were supposed to take place “over the next few months”. We’re still waiting.

Still Waiting on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Ride Props

It is believed that the props that Disney mentioned for the ride will be the camouflage props seen at Disneyland Paris. The oversized props in Disney Adventure World include spilled pasta, a cutting board, and more. These props attempt to hide the seam between the glossy concrete and the large projection screens.

While visiting EPCOT recently, we noted that there were no new props on the ride. This comes some 7 months after the ride switched to 2D, and 8 months after the changes were announced. That said, not all hope is lost. Back in late May, Walt Disney Imagineering filed a permit that suggested the installation of the oversized props was around the corner.

Disney has not announced a timeline for the prop installation beyond the expired “few months” timeframe that, charitably, ended around the time the permit was filed.

Here’s a look around Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure from our recent ride.
