Universal Orlando Resort has begun selling its slate of Frequent Fear season passes for Halloween Horror Nights 35. The four tiers give guests several ways to attend the milestone anniversary event throughout the fall, with prices ranging from a lower-cost option covering a handful of nights up to a top tier covering the entire run. Every tier requires guests to pick a start date at checkout, and that choice determines the total number of visits included. Here’s a full breakdown, sorted from least to most expensive.
Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Passes On Sale

Rush of Fear Pass | $229.99
The Rush of Fear pass sits at the bottom of the lineup. It includes admission for up to the first 18 nights of the season. It’s a fit for guests who want to experience Halloween Horror Nights early without paying for the full season.
This tier covers opening weekend and the first two and a half weeks of September. It stops before the season’s busier fall stretch begins. Guests who want to catch the event’s newest haunted houses early will get the most value out of this pass.
Eligible nights for the Rush of Fear pass include:
- Aug. 28, 29, 30
- Sept. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
Frequent Fear Pass | $274.99
The Frequent Fear pass steps up to as many as 31 nights across the season. Coverage stretches well into October. Guests planning multiple visits across the event’s middle stretch will find more flexibility with this tier than with Rush of Fear.
This tier leans toward Sunday through Thursday dates rather than weekend nights, plus opening weekend itself. It’s a fit for guests who can visit on weekdays and want to skip the most crowded nights.
Eligible nights for the Frequent Fear pass include:

- Sept. 2, 3, 6, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 27, 30

Frequent Fear Plus Pass | $324.99
Frequent Fear Plus expands coverage further, with admission for up to 41 nights. It adds a number of dates throughout September and October compared to the standard Frequent Fear pass. This tier gives guests access to most of the season’s calendar.
The added dates bring in several Friday and Saturday nights the standard Frequent Fear pass leaves out. Guests who want weekend flexibility without paying for the full season may prefer this tier over the standard one.
Eligible nights for the Frequent Fear Plus pass include:
- Aug. 28, 29, 30
- Sept. 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25, 27, 30
- Oct. 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, 23, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31
- Nov. 1
Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass | $449.99
The Ultimate Frequent Fear pass sits at the top of the lineup, covering up to 49 nights. That’s every 2026 eligible event date except one. The pass isn’t valid on Premium Scream Nights, which fall on Aug. 27th and Oct. 19th this year. Guests who buy this tier also get free self-parking after 5pm on any event night for which they hold a valid pass.
This is the pass for guests who want the freedom to show up on any given night without checking a date list first. The self-parking perk adds extra value for anyone visiting several times throughout the fall.
Universal prices all four tiers per person, plus tax. Guests must select a pass start date at the time of purchase. The number of included visits depends on that selection, subject to availability. Guests hoping to add Express Pass to any of these tiers should watch for that pricing separately.
Express Pass No Longer Available With Frequent Fear Passes
Universal has discontinued the option to add Express Pass to any Frequent Fear pass tier, the company confirmed earlier this month. Guests who buy a seasonal pass will no longer see that add-on at checkout.
Universal shared the following statement on the change: “As we continue to evaluate our offerings in an effort to provide the best Halloween Horror Nights experience for all Guests, we have discontinued all Fear with Express Pass products. Other Fear pass options will go on sale soon.”
Express Pass itself hasn’t gone away entirely. It remains available as a nightly add-on for guests holding single-night tickets, granting one-time front-of-line access at all haunted houses and participating attractions each night. It’s specifically the pairing of Express Pass with a seasonal Frequent Fear pass that Universal has cut.
