Rafalski posted the photos to LinkedIn. She described the trip as a chance to see progress on the ship with the Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering teams. The visit ranged from holding a piece of steel to standing in front of the ship’s iconic funnel, and much more. She called the day filled with excitement for the future.

One photo shows the group posing beneath the ship’s funnel. Crews have already shaped it and coated it in primer at this stage of construction. Another photo shows several team members each holding a small triangular piece of steel. Rafalski said she cannot wait to see the Disney Believe come to life with every visit to the shipyard.

Disney announced the Disney Believe as the name of Disney Cruise Line’s ninth ship in March. The reveal came at the company’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders. It’s the fourth ship in the Wish class, joining the enchantment-themed Disney Wish, the adventure-themed Disney Treasure, and the heroes and villains-themed Disney Destiny. Its own theme centers on promise and possibilities.

Disney Believe Details Announced So Far

Disney has said the Disney Believe will bring stories from Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana, and The Little Mermaid to life onboard. The ship is expected to debut in late 2027. Disney has said it plans to share additional details in the coming months.

The Disney Believe arrives as Disney Cruise Line plans to grow its fleet to 13 ships by 2031. That growth also includes the Disney Adventure, which sailed its maiden voyage from Singapore in March. A new class of mid-size ships is set to debut in 2029. Disney also has a partnership with Oriental Land Co., Ltd. to bring Disney cruises to Japan that same year.
