A Wider Look at Availability
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has developed a pattern of quick sellouts since before the season began on August 7th. We checked Disney’s official ticketing page directly this morning, and ten dates are currently open across the rest of the season:
- August 30th
- September 24th, 25th, 27th, and 29th
- October 1st, 2nd, 4th, 23rd, 25th, and 27th
Of course, we don’t have visibility into Disney’s internal sales figures. That said, same-day online availability is pretty rare. Demand and pricing questions are part of why we’ve argued that Walt Disney World needs a new Halloween party. A fresh take on Halloween with a brand new event could be a wonderful shot in the arm for Walt Disney World’s end to its fiscal year. We’ve also really enjoyed the Disney Jollywood Nights event in recent years, and we hope that Disney considers a Halloween version next year.
Story So Far
- Halloween night sold out within hours of general sales opening, a record pace for the event’s most popular evening.
- August 11th and August 14th, the season’s two cheapest dates at $119 each, sold out shortly after, closing out the affordable end of the calendar.
- Every date across the event’s first three weeks, running from opening night through August 21st, sold out as well.
- As of this afternoon, ten dates spanning August, September, and October remain open at the same time, a shift from the steady sellout pace earlier in the season.
