The remaining dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have sold out completely for the 2026 season. Walt Disney World’s ticket calendar now shows every remaining date as unavailable. The lone exception is August 30th, which never sold out, breaking a streak that has held since the party’s post-COVID return. This sellout comes just six days after Disney’s last update showed only three dates left on the calendar.

From Party Pass To Price Hikes
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party wasn’t always such a hot ticket. Back in 2019, Disney sold a “Party Pass” that let guests attend as many Not-So-Scary nights as they wanted. The only exception was Halloween night itself. A pass built around unlimited attendance only makes sense when plenty of tickets are going unsold, and that was the case throughout the 2010s. COVID-19 then forced Disney to cancel the event entirely in 2020.
Not-So-Scary didn’t return in 2021. Instead, Disney replaced it that year with Disney After Hours Boo Bash, a pricier, lower-capacity event that borrowed some Not-So-Scary elements without matching its scope. We weren’t fans of Boo Bash, and it turned out Disney wasn’t either. Not-So-Scary came back for 2022, but Disney kept Boo Bash’s higher price point when it did. The average ticket jumped from $96.53 in 2019 to $143.17 in 2022, an astonishing increase at the time. We expected guests to simply pay whatever Disney asked rather than push back, and we were right. Not only did guests keep buying tickes, but Not-So-Scary sold out completely in 2022 for the first time in its history, and it has sold out every season since.
A Fourth Straight “Sellout”
The 2022 season sold out by September 11th, still the fastest complete sellout on record. Prices climbed again in 2023, and guests kept paying, though that season took until September 30th to sell through every date. The pace picked back up in 2024 and 2025, with both seasons selling out by September 24th.
This year’s sellout landed on September 18th, the second-fastest pace since Not-So-Scary’s return, trailing only 2022. The season’s one holdout is August 30th, which never sold out even as every date around it did. It’s an anomaly in an otherwise unbroken run of complete sellouts. We attended opening night this year and came away arguing that Walt Disney World needs an entirely new Halloween party rather than another overhaul of Not-So-Scary itself. Guests don’t seem to agree that a change is urgent. As we put it in that piece, Disney’s “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach is working, and this year’s sellout pace backs that up.
