Universal Orlando Details Holiday Offerings, Including First-Ever Decor in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD & Isle of Berk

Universal Orlando Resort has released full details for its 2026 holiday season. As we first reported in January, the season runs November 14th through January 3rd, 2027. For the first time, holiday dรฉcor will debut at SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and How to Train Your Dragon โ€“ Isle of Berk in Epic Universe. The lineup also brings back Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas, and the Macy’s parade.

Epic Universe

Epic Universe will see holiday dรฉcor for the first time in two new lands. SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and How to Train Your Dragon โ€“ Isle of Berk will both receive seasonal touches this season. Celestial Park will feature a “cosmic winter wonderland,” with twinkling trees throughout. The Cosmos Fountain also gets holiday-themed displays running all day.

Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter also comes to Ministry of Magic. The area gets festive lights and dรฉcor, plus holiday entertainment at select spots.

Islands of Adventure

Hogsmeade gets its own Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter treatment this season. Guests can catch “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” a nighttime projection show inspired by holiday moments from the Harry Potter films.

Grinchmas also returns to Seuss Landing. The centerpiece is the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” a stage show based on “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Guests can also meet The Grinch and stroll the Who-Ville Tree Lot.

Universal Studios Florida

Diagon Alley gets its own Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter dรฉcor this season. Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s also returns to the streets each night. Balloons and floats are themed to Illumination’s “Despicable Me,” DreamWorks Animation’s “Shrek” and “Madagascar,” and holiday favorites. Santa Claus closes out the parade with a Christmas tree lighting.

All of the in-park holiday experiences above come included with regular theme park admission.

Beyond the Parks: Tour, CityWalk, Hotels, and Discounts

Guests looking to add a guided experience can book the Universal Holiday Tour. The tour runs two and a half hours and requires park-to-park access. It includes:

  • An exclusive meet and greet with The Grinch
  • An exclusive meet and greet with Max, The Grinch’s dog
  • Reserved seating for “The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular”
  • A meet and greet with Santa Claus
  • An optional reserved viewing area for Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s

Universal will run the Holiday Tour on select dates from November 14th, 2026 through January 2nd, 2027. Pricing starts at $69.99 per person, plus tax, and Annual and Seasonal Passholders can save $10 per ticket.

Outside the parks, Universal CityWalk’s Red Coconut Club transforms into the Green and Red Coconut Club for the season. The overlay brings seasonal cocktails, live entertainment, and themed dรฉcor.

All 11 Universal Orlando hotels will also receive holiday dรฉcor tailored to each property’s theme. Guests can also expect special menus, menorah lighting ceremonies, Christmas tree lightings, and strolling carolers. Hotel guests get Early Park Admission and complimentary transportation to the theme parks as part of their stay.

Universal is also pairing the season with several savings options. U.S. residents can save up to 30% on stays of five nights or more at participating hotels. Bundling a hotel stay with theme park tickets adds up to $300 more in savings. Current ticket offers include “Get 2-Days Free with a 3-Day Ticket,” good for five park days at the cost of three.

Florida residents can purchase the 2-Park Unlimited Days Ticket for $199 plus tax. That ticket provides unlimited access to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure through December 16th. Residents can also find savings of up to 25% on rooms at participating hotels.
