Disney revealed new details for the Disney Believe in a livestream today. The reveal answers the questions fans have asked since the ship’s name reveal in March. D23 in August gave us a first look at the Moana-themed Grand Hall, the Tinker Bell bow, and the Woody and Buzz stern. Construction has moved along too, with the first gigablock floating out of the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, in September.

Disney says the Disney Believe will put Walt Disney’s legacy of curiosity and discovery front and center. The stories follow characters who believe in themselves, in their dreams, and in the promise of a better tomorrow. New offerings sit alongside returning guest-favorite venues and entertainment. Disney says families can expect “a vacation of boundless possibilities.”

The Grand Hall will be an architectural meeting of sky and sea, Disney says. Details draw on “Moana” and its Pacific Islands setting. The carpet carries ocean hues, and constellations dot the ceiling. Railings take their designs from Moana’s skirt. A chandelier modeled after the ocean’s fluid movement hides the heart of Te Fiti within. It joins the bronze statue of Moana, Pua, and Heihei, which we saw in unpainted sculpt form at D23 Expo in August.

Snow White fans get their own lounge in Wishing Well, inspired by the 1937 film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” It has three distinct settings. A gothic castle inspires the bar, which features a stained-glass piece that mimics the castle windows. Guests in the seating area enter the castle courtyard, under a canopy of white blossoms and red apples. The colors of Snow White’s gown appear in the furnishings. Hand-carved wood framing in the performance area pays homage to the Seven Dwarfs’ cottage.

Just off the Grand Hall, Sea Notes takes guests under the sea. This piano lounge draws on Ariel’s grotto in “The Little Mermaid” and blends contemporary design with the film’s whimsical artistry. A pearlescent piano, one of Ariel’s forgotten treasures, sits at the center. Nostalgic melodies fill the space, alongside an expertly crafted menu of cocktails and non-alcoholic sips.

Skygazers is an observatory-themed pub for dreamers and wish-makers. The astronomer’s laboratory setting has bookshelves filled with astronomical instruments and celestial maps. Hidden props nod to classic Disney stories where characters wished upon stars. Guests can order custom-made craft brews, specialty cocktails, and light bites. The pub also makes a perfect spot to watch live sports broadcasts or ponder dreams.

Gazelle serves as the ship’s entertainment hub. The space draws on the bustling metropolis of Disney Animation’s “Zootopia” films. By day, it hosts family fun for guests of all ages. After sunset, it shifts to adult-exclusive entertainment. For the first time on Disney Cruise Line, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde join in with a brand-new family show. Guests put their detective skills to the test to help the duo solve their latest case.

Frozen Feast, Inside Out Sweets, and New Coffee Cafes

Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast is a new restaurant with a brand-new, untold chapter in the “Frozen” story. Guests find Oaken and his cousins in a Scandinavian Summerhaus courtyard, nestled deep within a forest. Throughout the meal, Oaken’s family performs reimagined renditions of tunes from the “Frozen” soundtracks. Friends like Anna and Kristoff make special appearances.

Inside Out: Joyful Sweets returns with sculptural additions from “Inside Out 2.” Anxiety, Envy, and the “Sense of Self” structure join Joy and Sadness. The reimagined menu draws on the Emotions’ headquarters. Guests can pick from nearly 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream, daily handcrafted gelato specials, and a colorful lineup of signature sweets.

Coffee lovers get two new hangouts in Big Hero Sips and Cafรฉ Kakamora. Big Hero Sips draws from San Fransokyo in Disney Animation’s “Big Hero 6.” Cafรฉ Kakamora takes its cues from the piratical coconut creatures in “Moana.” Both serve a selection of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.

Several fan favorites return as well. The family dining restaurants 1923 and Worlds of Marvel rejoin the Wish class lineup. Haunted Mansion Parlor comes back with a brand-new selection of ghoulish delights for its thirsty visitors.

Staterooms, Royal Suites, and the Believe Tower Suite

The staterooms feature all-new papercut-style artwork that evokes classic Disney stories. Rooms draw on characters and stories like “Moana,” “Coco,” and “Inside Out.” Concierge guests will find the whimsical world of Neverland, themed to the Disney Animation classic “Peter Pan.” Several special oceanview rooms above the bridge carry the playful spirit of Pixar’s “Toy Story” instead.

As on every Disney Cruise Line ship, the staterooms meet the needs of families. All staterooms have ample storage. Most have the signature split-bath concept, roomy closets, and elevated bed frames with generous under-bed space. A sweeping ocean view comes with most rooms, and 70 percent include a spacious verandah. The ship also has more than 450 connecting doors for larger families.

Two new royal suites join the ship: the Royal Reef Suite, themed after “The Little Mermaid,” and the Royal Rose Suite, inspired by “Beauty and the Beast.” Elegant designs with nods to both classic films appear throughout each.

The Believe Tower Suite is exclusive to this ship and sleeps eight. Disney says the two-story suite in the forward funnel draws on the world of fantasy, promise, and possibility that is Magic Kingdom Park. Each room takes its look from a different themed land. Fireworks- and balloon-inspired light fixtures and an art piece depicting Cinderella Castle hint at the park throughout.

Encanto Debuts in the Walt Disney Theatre

The first stage adaptation of “Encanto” debuts exclusively on the Disney Believe in the Walt Disney Theatre. “Disney Encanto” follows Mirabel on her quest to save her loved ones and their magical home. Vibrant costuming, scenic set design, and a joyful fusion of traditional dance styles bring the tropical landscape and rich cultures of Colombia to the stage. The soundtrack features hits from Disney Legend Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Disney says fans can finally talk about Bruno.

Two more shows round out the theater lineup. “Tangled: The Musical,” a hit from the Disney Magic, joins the Disney Believe with a reimagined set design and special effects. Rapunzel and her friends bring the film’s beloved songs to life. “Disney Seas the Adventure,” an original stage show for the Wish class, features beloved Disney and Pixar characters and iconic songs.
