Extended Evening Hours are coming back to Magic Kingdom in the new year, with the first night scheduled for January 6th. The perk gives eligible resort guests extra time in the park after it closes to everyone else. Disney has posted its park hours calendar through January 7th, so we went through every day on it for a full list of Extended Evening Hours dates, parks, and times. EPCOT and Animal Kingdom have nights on the calendar as well.
Magic Kingdom Extended Evening Hours in January 2027

Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom return on Wednesday, January 6th, after the final night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on December 22nd and the peak holiday season that follows. Disney’s calendar shows the park open from 9:00am to 9:00pm that day, with Early Theme Park Entry at 8:30am. Extended Evening Hours then begin at 9:00pm and end at 11:00pm, subject to change.
Magic Kingdom has no other Extended Evening Hours on Disney’s calendar between now and then. Last year followed a similar timeline. As we reported when Disney posted the early 2026 schedule, the perk was set to return to Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, with three Wednesdays on the calendar that month. This year, Disney has posted only the first Wednesday, and more January nights will likely be added later.
Extended Evening Hours Dates, Parks, and Times
Disney’s calendar shows Extended Evening Hours at all four theme parks through January 7th, though Hollywood Studios has only tonight left on the schedule. Each night below adds two hours after the park closes to regular guests.

- EPCOT, Mondays, 9:00pm to 11:00pm
- November: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
- December: 7, 14, 21, 28
- January: 4
- Animal Kingdom, Wednesdays, 6:00pm to 8:00pm
- November: 4, 11, 18, 25
- December: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
- Hollywood Studios, 9:00pm to 11:00pm
- October: 28
EPCOT and Animal Kingdom repeat the same weekday every week on the calendar. Animal Kingdom’s window comes earlier because the park closes at 6:00pm on those Wednesdays, while EPCOT closes at 9:00pm on Mondays. Disney has not posted another Hollywood Studios night through January 7th, and these dates reflect the calendar as of October 28th.
What’s Open During Magic Kingdom Extended Evening Hours
Disney’s calendar lists 23 attractions with Extended Evening Hours on January 6th, the same 23 as last year. TRON Lightcycle Run, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Haunted Mansion are on it. Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic make the list too. Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is the one timing exception, with its Extended Evening Hours ending at 10:00pm instead of 11:00pm, but it’s normal for Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor to close an hour early.
Eligible guests are those staying at Deluxe resorts, the Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green, as in past years, and the perk adds about two hours after the park closes.
