Ten new permit applications at Universal Studios Florida appear to cover next year’s Halloween Horror Nights haunted house locations. Each one has a breakfast-themed codename. The applications were filed during the final days of Halloween Horror Nights 35. Here’s the latest.
2027 Halloween Horror Nights Haunted House Codenames & Locations
IN THIS ARTICLE:
- All 10 breakfast codenames and the location on each permit
- Which of this year’s houses used each location
- How the breakfast theme follows this year’s vehicle codenames
Universal’s haunted house codenames usually surface first through permit filings. We saw the same thing for this year’s event, with the transportation-themed codenames. The new batch covers the same ten locations that hosted this year’s houses. Each permit pairs a location with a breakfast item.
Here’s a look at each location, its 2027 breakfast codename, and the house it hosted for Halloween Horror Nights 35:
- Soundstage 22: Pancake (Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control)
- Soundstage 23A: Syrup (Evil Dead Burn)
- Soundstage 23B: Waffle (Stranger Things 5)
- Soundstage 24A: Oatmeal (Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness)
- Soundstage 24B: Mimosa (MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals)
- Fast and Furious: Hash (Cybergoria)
- Tent 1: Porridge (INVASION: Alien Abduction)
- Tent 2: Yogurt (H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!)
- B138A: Toast (Hellraiser)
- B138B: Grits (Sinners)
Breakfast Follows Vehicles
Universal typically picks an overarching theme for the codenames each year. Breakfast now replaces the vehicles theme used for Halloween Horror Nights 35. That list included Shuttle, Wagon, and Helicopter. This batch includes Toast, Waffle, Porridge and Mimosa.
Codenames sometimes hint at what’s inside a house. Other times they have no connection at all. Of course, the permits don’t say what the themes of each house will be, just the codenames. Instead, fan speculation will come first, and official announcements from Universal will follow next year.
