WWE is bringing two of its biggest nights to Walt Disney World this December. Disney and WWE announced a two-day takeover of ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on December 14th and 15th, headlined by The John Cena Classic and an Avengers: Doomsday-themed edition of Worlds Collide. Combo tickets go on sale in just over a week. Here’s the latest.

Disney and WWE say the partnership is expanding beyond television and streaming. We’re getting a Monday night and a Tuesday night of wrestling at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at Walt Disney World, plus a fan event surrounding both shows. Disney says more details will arrive in the coming weeks.

The John Cena Classic and Worlds Collide

The first night, Monday, December 14th, is the debut of The John Cena Classic. WWE’s biggest names from Raw and SmackDown will face the brightest future Superstars from NXT. WWE revealed the show on Monday Night Raw in front of a sold-out Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and it will stream live on Netflix as a special edition of Monday Night Raw.

Fans get a say in the outcome. Members of Club WWE, the company’s recently launched fan membership program, will vote in real time for their favorite performance, and the night ends by naming the top Superstar as decided by the WWE Universe. Registration is at WWE.com/ClubWWE.

On Tuesday, December 15th, WWE produces an Avengers: Doomsday edition of Worlds Collide with Superstars from WWE, NXT and AAA. The timing is no coincidence, since Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday opens in U.S. theaters on December 18th. It’s a rare crossover between a wrestling promotion and a Marvel release, and Disney owns both the venue and the film.

WWE World, Merchandise and Tickets

Around both shows, WWE and Fanatics will stage WWE World, a two-day immersive fan event at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Disney says it will include exclusive merchandise, retail activations, and photo and autograph opportunities with WWE Superstars. WWE will also sell Avengers: Doomsday co-branded products, including title belts, at WWE World, WWEShop.com and select Disney retail stores.

Two-day combo tickets go through Ticketmaster.com. General presale starts Thursday, November 12th at 10:00am ET, and the public on-sale follows Friday, November 13th at 10:00am ET. Fans can register at WWE.com/CenaClassic to get event information first. Disney hasn’t said what individual tickets cost or whether single-night options will exist. We’ll pass along pricing once it’s released.
